BCT® FLOATING RIVET NUTS
BCT® Floating Rivet nuts can be partly installed into an ellipse shape to form a supporting bulge without fixing the position.
This capability allows the rivet nut to move along the length of the hole to enable wide tolerances whilst screwing components to the fastener.
Once the screw and the fastener are joined the remaining installation can be completed by tightening the screw. This gives a standard fastening joint whilst allowing tolerances that aren’t possible with standard fasteners.

BCT® Floating Rivet Nuts
BBA BCT® Floating Rivet nuts can be installed in elongated holes to assure the alignment of the joining point during installation.
The BCT® Floating Rivet nuts bulge will form where the holes are placed in accordance to the required material thickness.
The BCT® Floating Rivet nuts bulge forms up to a 40% larger bulge compared to standard rivet nuts, reducing stress on the material.
BCT® Floating Rivet nuts can be produced in all materials available at BBA to suit any application needs.
